What is Paint Splatter?

Your mess.

This is not a sit-down painting class. Paint Splatter is about getting creative without taking it too seriously. Throw it, flick it, splatter it and see what happens.

Make as much mess as you like.

We provide the overalls and the paint. You bring the energy. Splash the room, create on your canvas and get everyone involved in a colourful hour that is made for photos, laughs and memories.

Shared sessions, capped at 12.

You book the number of places you need. Other groups can book the same time until the session reaches its 12-person maximum. Once all places are taken, that time slot is sold out.

Four ways to splatter.

Every experience lasts one hour. Standard, Neon and Blue Light / Student / SEN sessions include one canvas for every guest. Canvas Share is booked by the pair with one canvas to create together, with a maximum of three pairs (6 people) per session.

Good to know: Standard, Neon and Blue Light / Student / SEN prices are per person and have a maximum of 12 guests per time slot. Canvas Share is priced per pair and has a maximum of 3 pair slots (6 people) per session.

Planning a birthday party, celebration, school or group visit, team event or a larger Paint Splatter booking? Sessions booked through the calendar are limited to 12 guests, but we can arrange larger group and event bookings separately.

Before you book

Important session information.

Please read this before completing your booking. We also recommend adding the same information into your booking confirmation emails so customers have it after checkout.

What to expect

  • Duration: Paint Splatter sessions are 1 hour long.
  • Our Splatter Guides will be there during your session to assist, guide and inspire you.
  • You’ll create your own canvas masterpiece during the session.
  • Painting take-home box: we provide a customised transport box for your masterpiece, and due to limited space we’re unable to store canvases in the studio.

Arrival, dress code & kids

  • Dress code: protective gear is provided, but please still dress for the mess in case small paint splashes reach your clothes.
  • Included: poncho and shoe covers are provided. A full body suit is available as an optional extra.
  • Arrival: please arrive 5–10 minutes early so you have time to get ready before your session begins.
  • Kids: all ages are the same rate. Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult in the studio. Children under 6 may share a splatter station with one adult if booking the correct ticket type. Adults who are only spectating do not need a ticket.
  • Large groups: for 10+ guests, please use the group enquiry form.

Health & safety

  • You must not run, as the floor can become slippery.
  • Children must be accompanied by an adult.
  • Only an adult may turn the spinning wheel on and off.
  • Do not touch the wheel whilst it is spinning or pull the protective tube covering the gap.
  • Non-slip shoe covers must be kept on throughout the session until you are about to leave.

Best practice: keep this section on the page, and also paste the same points into your confirmation/reminder emails so customers receive the details again after booking.

Paint Splatter gives you something to create as well as somewhere to let loose. Standard, Neon and Blue Light / Student / SEN guests each receive their own canvas. Canvas Share pairs create one canvas together.

Standard, Neon & Special Rate: one canvas for every person booked.

How long is a Paint Splatter session?

Every Paint Splatter experience lasts one hour.

How many people can be in a session?

Standard, Neon and Blue Light / Student / SEN sessions have a maximum capacity of 12 people. Canvas Share has 3 pair slots, so it is limited to 6 people. Once all spaces or pair slots are booked, that time is no longer available.

Will our group have the room to ourselves?

Paint Splatter sessions are shared. Other groups can book the same time slot until that experience reaches capacity — up to 12 guests on Standard, Neon and Special Rate sessions, or up to 3 pairs / 6 people on Canvas Share.

Are overalls provided?

Yes. Overalls are provided for your Paint Splatter session.

Does everyone get a canvas?

On Standard, Neon and Blue Light / Student / SEN sessions, every guest gets their own canvas. On Canvas Share, one canvas is shared between each pair.

How does the Canvas Share Session work?

Canvas Share is designed for couples or one adult with one child, with one shared canvas for each pair. Standard Paint is £39.50 £33.58 per pair, or you can choose the Neon Experience Upgrade for £41.50 £35.28 per pair on this school holiday offer page. It can only be booked as 2, 4 or 6 people, with a maximum of 3 pair slots per session.

What is different about the Neon Experience?

The Neon Experience uses bright neon glowing paint. It is available as the full Neon Experience, as an upgrade on Blue Light / Student / SEN bookings, and as an upgrade on Canvas Share. Capacity still follows the experience selected: up to 12 guests for per-person sessions, or 3 pairs / 6 people for Canvas Share.
